Appraisal day today - darnit, I'm good, they always find fault somewhere though...

Wanna go to Oxford for the weekend, money is tight though, so I'll have to stay here instead - probably go to see Bugsey Malone late show at the DOY on Saturday instead, recover a bit.

Only had a pint of weak Harvey's last night, didn't drink Monday - if I can manage History of Violence and the rest of this evening without any booze I'll be very pleased with myself. Smoking more, but I can always stop that when my alcohol intake is low enough and I'm feeling a bit steadier...

...'Course I wouldn't mind a nice refreshing pint, bugger. Even larger would be good now, must be desperate.

Paid my thirty quid for the film lunch up at Hush on Friday, that's scary enough to give me a good feeling of promise for the future - and may even have just got my course fees paid for by work; not sure yet though.

Back to cloth simulation, Yum...

Tammie has finally moved, so I have a flat to myself. Her new place is a little small and odd but good for the money, it used to be a hotel and still has lots of hotelish bits and pieces which is kinda cute. It does smell rather of dying old men but hopefully that'll pass when she's aired the place and cleaned a bit.

The move was quite hectic, I was drunk at Kats house until 6.30 Saturday morning then stumbled back here having arranged for Kat to meet me here and help at 2pm. I'd done an hour or so's work on the new Dead Pixels video when Tammie came through in her dressing gown and told me the man with the van was due to turn up in an hour at 9am - sudden panic, I'd drunk another bottle of wine by that point and wasn't feeling terribly with it...

After allot of confused argument we decided Tammie should take the laptop as her old machine is difficult to move and would require the monitor and desk which'd leave me a little screwed for video stuff on the Mac. The guy came, nice youngish lad (patronising old git I am) and we cleared the house moved and unpacked in under two hours. Think he was quite bemused by my state; mad drunken weirdo with a pink quiff staggering about and breaking things in a highly spectacular way.

I think that was the best bit of the day, I bought some nice Champers and we danced to The Kinks while sipping away, then I passed out for five hours before Tammie took me out for my thankyou "lunch" at the Lion and Lobster. I had a nice big crispy steak, Kat and Ben joined us and we drank much red wine before all going back to the new flat to drink more, dance and generally consume the evening. Got back here by 1am - it was pretty depressing trying to sleep here, especially after having such an intense time, thought about all the usual depressing shite, now I feel much better; still shell shocked though, and bruised all over from the move and generally being drunk, energetic and clumsy for 36 hours.

Now I must tidy up a bit and read the Big Pink Punk book Tammie bought me to say thanks, drink tea and smoke fags.

What an exciting life I lead, Nihilistic Manic Depressive Alcoholic Coder from Hell...

(or in Hell perhaps)
