Gothic Delirium

Had a great time at B-movie last night, met up with and bumped into best friends & danced with da 3 lovely ladies. Missed SteveyJ though, which was a shame, too ill to come clubbing, that's no good! Battered Nik about his blog and general non-connectivity, and tried to be supportive and stuff to Andrew, but I think as the evening drew on I morphed back into arsehole pissed-mister Gabriel the Drunkard. So ... 'course, drank too much and missed all transport back to Brighton - slept over at Amanda's (which she was due to move out of 1 hour 25 mins ago... timing : ) and had to rush back so Tam could goto work.

Nearly finished Cryptonomicon, a very good read. I devoured it rather thoroughly - I hope Ivan (the owner of said book) is'nt too annoyed about the ratty, stained state of it...

Bought a new coat, one of those Friday 13th luck things, ¬£35 for a very nice new royal marines overcoat, it was made for a very tall thin person and fits me perfectly - plus the extra foot or so length which wouldn't notice on a 7' 6 guy makes it super cool on me : ) wayhey!

Now readying for hang-over cure hot bath, and maybe a wander into town for a stroll in the drizzle, Ta-Tum Te-Tum.

Listening to the new NIN, nice stuff - rather reminiscent of... Other
artists in places, but all great fun. Got some tickets to see Mr Reznor
at Brixton which promises to be extremely enjoyable.

Bit more gothy than usual which is nice, H8 "Rock" after all. Helps me
with this working L8 thing - normally its fine, but this week I'm
switched projects during Alpha Crunch which is a bit of a git cause I'm
pretty busy as it is.

Ah, well B-Movie on Friday - and Jimmy's Wedding, which I'm not invited
to for some *Heavy* reasons - not excluding that he's getting married to
the bassist from the last band I was in - who ganged up on me with the
singer and kicked me out, fools : )

Long live Dead Pixels!

(PS Jimmy, the spell checker insists this is how you spell yer name,
soz. Mr Da Fence : )

Silly test, which rightly points out I`m a Complete Bastard.

You are 71% Rational, 57% Extroverted, 57% Brutal, and 85% Arrogant.
You are the Smartass! You are rational, extroverted, brutal, and arrogant. You probably consider people who are emotional and gentle to be big pussies who are obviously in lesser stature than you. You have many flaws, despite your seeming intelligence and cool-headedness. For instance, you aren't very nice. In fact, you're probably an asshole. And you are conceited and self-centered. Not only that, but you are very loud and vocal about all this, seeing as how you are extroverted. There is no better way to describe you than as a "smartass", I'm afraid. Perhaps just "ass" would do, too. But that's a little less literary and descriptive. At any rate, your main personality defect is the fact that you are self-centered, mean, uncaring, and brutally logical.

To put it less negatively:

1. You are more RATIONAL than intuitive.

2. You are more EXTROVERTED than introverted.

3. You are more BRUTAL than gentle.

4. You are more ARROGANT than humble.

Your exact opposite is the Emo Kid.

Other personalities you would probably get along with are the Capitalist Pig, the Braggart, and the Sociopath.

What fun. Well, they look nice, big HEAVY white screens, super plush UI
make windows XP look even clunkier than usual. But still it can take
several hours bashing merrily away to get the bastards to go online...

I gave into temptation - ah drank wine, it was in a restaurant - no
excuse but very difficult to avoid. Then again yesterday, in an Organic
Wine Bar / Pub - oooo, it was nice :)

Met Tammie's Cous, Darren (of Little Artists fame, wayhey!) and sat
around being soberly happy for quite a while. Tried to go shopping -
well, did go shopping, bought a tee-shirt with a cool little chainsaw
dude on from cyberdog, but still no boots/trainers or glasses - one
